1000 Miles of Sebring

The 1000 Miles of Sebring is motorsport race that is held at the Sebring International Raceway, on the site of the former Hendricks Army Airfield World War II Airbase, in Sebring, Florida. It was created for the FIA World Endurance Championship, and the race took place for the first time on 15 March 2019.

The Sebring International Raceway is a road course auto racing facility in the southeastern United States, located near Sebring, Florida.

It is one of the oldest race tracks in America, its first race being run in 1950. It hosts the annual 12 Hours of Sebring (IMSA) and the FIA WEC for the second time in 2020.

The raceway occupies a portion of Sebring Regional Airport, an active airport for private and commercial traffic that was originally built as Hendricks Army Airfield, a World War II training base for the U.S. Army Air Forces.
