The first hours of the race perfectly matched the team’s expectations with Andrea Belicchi battling at the front of the race for second place with the Oreca Peugeot, aided by brilliant strategy calls by the team in the management of the safety car periods in the early stages of the race.

Andrea Belicchi in Lola-Toyota N°12 secured the first place non diesel car in the qualification session for the 14th edition of the Petit Le Mans. With a lap time of 1'10''123, the Italian driver also secured 6th position overall on the grid.

For the second time this year, REBELLION Racing will race in the USA at Petit Le Mans, the 6th round of the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, and finale of the American Le Mans Series.

Neel JANI secured the pole position for tomorrow's 6 hours of Estoril, placing the #12 Lola-Toyota in the first position on the grid with the fastest laptime of 1'30''118.

REBELLION Racing is heading to Portugal for the 6 Hours of Estoril, the finale of the 2011 Le Mans Series. After making Lola-Toyota the winners of the LMS LMP1 Manufacturers’ Championship with a second win in a row at the 6 Hours of Silverstone earlier this month, the Swiss team have two other titles to potentially win at the final LMS round.

With a back to back win at the 6 Hours of Silverstone on 11th September, following their victory at Imola in July, REBELLION Racing have scored enough points to secure victory in the Le Mans Series Manufacturers’ Championship for Lola-Toyota with one race still to go.

Andrea Belicchi and Jean-Christophe Boullion won the Le Mans Series 6 Hours of Imola. A brilliant 1-2 for REBELLION Racing as the #12 Lola-Toyota drivers Neel Jani and Nicolas Prost achieved a strong second place after a six hour battle with the #13 sister car.

The Swiss team will face extremely strong competition at Spa, which is the last "dress rehearsal" before next month's Le Mans 24 Hours.

The Le Mans 24 Hours Test Day was an important date on the REBELLION Racing 2011 agenda. The Swiss team used the occasion to test two heavily revised Lola-Toyota LMP1 cars, each with a new aerodynamic kit, new front suspension, a longer wheelbase and the introduction of the wider front tyres supplied by Michelin.

After good performances in free practice and the pole position secured by Neel Jani, the REBELLION Racing team had high hopes of victory at the 6 hours of Le Castellet, the first round of the 2011 Le Mans Series.

In a thrilling qualifying session with no less than 8 changes of the pole-sitter, Neel Jani secured the pole position in the dying seconds of the session with a time of 1'46''783. This is the first pole position in the REBELLION Racing team's young career in the top flight LMP1 category of endurance racing.
