In 2015, the first WEC endurance race in Germany held on the Nürburgring and was home race office for manufacturers Audi and Porsche, was a huge success. But the Nürburgring has a great history with endurance for hosting its first event of 1000 km in 1953, as part of the World Sportscar Championship. The 6 Hours Nürburgring showed that German fans had lost none of their passion for endurance racing.
Oreca 07s #31 and #13 crossed the finish line in second and fourth positions after 6 hours of fierce race on the German circuit.
At the end of the Qualifying Session, the two Oreca 07s finished in third and fourth position of the category LMP2.
This weekend will be the fourth and final race in Europe on the famous German circuit of Nürburgring before moving on to America and Asia for the rest of the World Endurance Championship.
